A beautiful lapis and garnet necklace, handcrafted in my studio.
The chunky faceted lapis lazuli gemstones are beautiful.
Deep blue, they exude classic beauty.
I added a faceted whiskey brown garnet for a bit of flash and shimmer.
The sterling silver crescent moon measures 1.25 inch long.
My feather markings are engraved on one side.
I engraved a line from a favorite Dylan Thomas poem, Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night, on the other:
rage against the dying of the light.
Measures 18.5 inches long.
The silver has been oxidized, for an antique look and low maintenance wear.
